An occupational therapist at Spectrum CDC knows that the basic elements all children need for health and development are love, nutrition, exercise, sensory integration and the self-confidence that comes from the fact that they are comfortable and capable in the world. Occupations are essentially needed and desired activities in someone’s life that are done alone or in social groups.
Our occupational therapists employ knowledge, skills and professional judgment to determine what to address during the evaluation, intervention and outcome processes. Intervention is done using various strategies for Sensory Integration, Attention, Concentration, Hyperactivity, ADL, Proprioception and many more. They use multiple theories and methods in a variety of settings to raise happy and competent children.
